Five Years Strong: Celebrating Lovell Homes' Support of Run Norwich

For the past five years, Lovell Homes have been a valued supporter of Run Norwich, helping to make Norfolk’s biggest running event possible whilst also helping to champion the life-changing work of the Community Sports Foundation.

What began as a partnership centred around a shared commitment to community has grown into a lasting relationship that continues to benefit runners, colleagues and local people across Norfolk. As we celebrate five years of Lovell’s Run Norwich partnership, we’re proud to recognise the positive impact Lovell Homes has had both on the event and on the wider community.

A big impact

Recently, Lovell paid a visit to the Community Sports Foundation’s weekly Powerchair sessions, to see firsthand the impact their unwavering support has on the charity’s programmes across the Norfolk community.

Building Communities Across Norfolk

Lovell Homes are one of the UK’s leading housebuilders and regeneration specialists, creating high-quality homes and sustainable communities across the country. With a strong presence across the East of England, Lovell places community at the heart of everything it does, delivering developments that help people put down roots and thrive.

That commitment to creating stronger communities makes their partnership with Run Norwich and the Community Sports Foundation a natural fit.

Through their support of the event, Lovell Homes continue to invest in opportunities that bring people together, improve wellbeing and create positive outcomes for local residents.

Running for a Bigger Purpose

Lovell’s long-lasting connection with the Community Sports Foundation is one they they feel strongly about. Rather than simply filling the allocated Run Norwich partnership running spaces internally, Lovell encourage their staff to use the opportunity to raise funds for the Community Sports Foundation, helping to support programmes that assist disadvantaged  people across Norfolk.

This shared purpose has become a key part of Lovell’s Run Norwich experience throughout the years and one of the main reasons the partnership has remained so strong.

Bringing Teams Together

Beyond the fundraising, Run Norwich has also become an important community event for colleagues across the business. Staff from different Lovell branches and departments come together each year to train and support one another in the build up to race day.

Run Norwich helps to provide a shared goal that strengthens relationships, boosts wellbeing and creates a real sense of camaraderie among colleagues who may not regularly work alongside one another.

Many of those taking part have also benefited from the Race Ready Training Group at The Nest, where participants receive expert support and guidance from former Olympian Paul Evans in a structured, weekly training block.

Looking Ahead

The partnership between Lovell Homes, Run Norwich and the Community Sports Foundation has been going from strength to strength in recent years.

In a further demonstration of their commitment to supporting the Foundation, Lovell Homes has already confirmed a group of between 15 and 20 participants for next year’s  Three Peaks Challenge.

Their enthusiasm for taking on new challenges reflects the passion and dedication that has underpinned the partnership throughout the years, and highlights their ongoing commitment to supporting communities across Norfolk.

As we celebrate the partnership, we’d like to thank everyone at Lovell Homes for their continued support of Run Norwich and the Community Sports Foundation.

From fundraising and volunteering to team training sessions and challenge events, the partnership has helped create lasting benefits for participants, colleagues and communities alike.

Lovell Homes – thank you.
