About the Challenge

Standings will be ordered by the total combined time of the team’s four fastest team members.

Prizes are, therefore, awarded to the three teams with the lowest combined total time (first place will receive a trophy, with second and third receiving shields).

There is no limit to number of team members, on the proviso all are current employees and all are currently entered into Run Norwich.

It’s completely free to enter your team, and multiple teams from the same organisation are welcome (perfect for inter-department or branch rivalry!).

Entry to the Challenge is open to all current Run Norwich entrants, irrespective of whether you are already representing a running club, charity or originally entered using ACTIVE’s (our entry system) Team function.

Corporate Challenge rules

Entries are open to any UK registered business, corporation or charity.

Multiple teams from the same company are welcome (e.g. Max & Sons Finance, Max & Sons HR), however employees cannot represent more than one team.

There is no maximum number of entrants per team.

All team members must be registered for Run Norwich 2024 and have agreed to its terms & conditions and race rules.

Team members must be employees of the team business or organisation as of race day (Sunday 8th September 2024)

Final team lists will be submitted following the close of Run Norwich’s official entry & transfer date of July 29th 2024

Team times are based on the four fastest chip times per team, once final results have been published.

Participation in the Corporate Challenge does not affect your eligibility for main race prizes

These Corporate Challenge rules are supplemental to the Run Norwich terms & conditions of entry, race rules and UK Athletics Rules of Competition.

How it works

Your nominated team captain can enter your team now here

Following the close of official entries & transfers (July 29th) and the allocation of bib numbers, we will contact team managers requesting their final team list (minimum four runners, no maximum. All must be Run Norwich entrants and current employees).

Following official individual results being published (usually three to four days after the race), we will publish final Corporate Challenge team standings.

The winning team will get their name engraved on the official Corporate Challenge, with the first, second and third placed teams receiving a trophy/shield to keep.
