Changes must be made by Thursday 1st June
Deadline day for Run Norwich 2023 (16th July) is fast approaching.
The deadline, Thursday 1st June, applies to the following options that are currently available to entrants or prospective entrants:
- Transfer your entry to another participant
- Enter Run Norwich 2023 as a charity entrant
- Make tweaks to your race details (e.g. predicted finishing time, home address)
- Pre-order race merchandise or medal personalisation (iTab)
See below for how you can make these changes or enter as a charity participant.
Transferring your entry or editing entry details
After Thursday 1st June, runners also will no longer be able to edit their race entry details (which includes personal information, estimated finish times or merchandise pre-orders); or, in the case of needing to pull-out of Run Norwich, transfer their place to another participant.
These changes, which are currently accessible via ACTIVE.com My Events portal, include:
- Updating your estimated finish time
- Updating your personal details, including your home address
- Updating the name on your race number
- Purchasing additional merchandise and/or medal personalisation (iTab)
- Transferring from race bib collection to postage
- Transferring your entry to another participant
- Confirming your entry & signing your waiver (if someone else purchased your entry)
Please note, after June 1st, it is against race rules to give your race number to another person if you are unable to run.
Here’s how to update your entry details.
Enter for charity
While general entries are long sold out, you can still enter by signing up to run for the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation.
As well as enjoying some super incentives, you’ll be helping to change lives in the local community.
Run for the Foundation
As well as being the race organisers, the Community Sports Foundation supports a vast range of people within the local community every year, including those who live with disabilities, mental health challenges or are disadvantaged and vulnerable.
All their runners will receive:
- Special edition Run Norwich 10k t-shirt
- Access to a VIP area of the Race Village on race day (with pre- and post-race massages available, plus beat-the-queue toilets!)
- Free use of Riverside Leisure Centre gym and pool facilities every Sunday until race day
- Norwich City FC themed fundraising incentives
Entry is free, on the proviso you commit to fundraising a minimum of £100.
