Race-makers. Marshals. That awesome lady who gave me my medal.
Call them what you will, but our army of enthusiastic and dedicated helpers are an essential cog in the Run Norwich race day machine. Simply put: without them, there would be no race.
To make the event safe and successful for all, we need a whopping 450 volunteers this year – and you can now apply to join the team.
Roles available on the morning are varied and will suit all abilities and levels of experience. They range from dishing out medals and water to lead marshals in charge of small teams.
Aside from feelin’ the love from all our runners, volunteers will benefit from the following on race day:
