Run Norwich 2026 Date Announced

Norwich City Community Sports Foundation is delighted to announce that Run Norwich 2026 will take place on Sunday 6th September 2026, following the huge success of the race’s 10th edition earlier this year.

2025’s race saw the highest number of starters in the event’s history – with just under 7,800 participants taking to the course on 7th September. Selling out in just 2-hours, the demand for this milestone year demonstrated the passion and community spirit that is now synonymous with Run Norwich.

“This year’s race was a phenomenal celebration of everything Run Norwich stands for,” said Emma Fletcher-Dungay, Head of Fundraising at the Community Sports Foundation.

“Seeing nearly 7,800 runners start the race – our biggest field yet – was a proud moment for the Foundation. Run Norwich is the Foundation’s flagship fundraising event, supporting our community focused programmes throughout Norfolk. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back in 2026 for another incredible day in the heart of our city.”

Run Norwich 2026 will once again be supported by the Foundation’s Strategic Partner, Norse Group, who return for their third consecutive year as Co-Main Partner.

Justin Galliford, Chief Executive of Norse Group, added:

“As a standout event in the county’s calendar, Run Norwich brings together runners and supporters alike. We’re proud to stand alongside the Community Sports Foundation once more to support their life-changing work. The race is about far more than fitness – it represents strength, unity, and collective spirit, and we look forward to another fantastic event in 2026.”

Entries to open in the New Year

Returning alongside Run Norwich will be the ever-popular junior fun run, Run Norwich Junior.
