Story added: 15th February 2022
General entry to Run Norwich 2022 (Sunday 17th July 2022) will now open at 9am on Thursday 17th February.
The original general entry window to Run Norwich was postponed last week, due to an unforeseen technical issue with Active.com, the external entry system we use for the race.
Active have confirmed with us that their entry system is now fully operational.
Demand for the general entry places is expected to be the fiercest yet, so we urge would-be-entrants to ensure they are poised and ready at 9am on Thursday.
Capacity for the race, this year backed by principal sponsor Aviva, is set at 8,500 runners, with well over 3,000 spaces already snapped up by priority entrants.
We thank everyone for their patience and understanding over the past few days.
17.02.22, 9am: General entry opens
General entry for the remaining places will open at 9am on Thursday 17th February.
Prices remain frozen at £24 for members of UK Athletics affiliated running clubs, or £26 for anyone else.
Priority entry will close at 8.30am on Thursday 17th February, prior to the general entry window opening.
The official race charity is the Community Sports Foundation, as well as twelve additional charity partners selected for 2022.
Anyone wishing to claim a FREE place to run for the Community Sports Foundation, can do so from 9am on Thursday 17th February or by emailing the Foundation before entries open.
Check out the Foundation’s runner incentives and read about our invaluable work in the local community, here.
Remember, official charity runners must pledge to raise at least £100 to claim their spot (see our race rules for more information).
