What's inside this year's Race Village...including free beer, live music and entertainment for the kids!

Every year on race day, Chapelfield Gardens is transformed into the Run Norwich Race Village. The hub of post-race activity, the Village is the perfect area to meet up with your friends and family and unwind after the race.

Here’s what’s going on this year:

Live screen!

A first at Run Norwich, this year we’ll have a live feed of the finish line on a large screen, ensuring you’ll be able to see fellow runners crossing the line at City Hall…all while enjoying your free beer and post-race refreshments.

Race presentations

Our guest of honour (who shall remain nameless!) will be presenting our winners with their trophies from the band-stand from approx 11.30am (time subject to change, depending on when our final finisher crosses the finish line.)

Free beer!

Race supporters Adnams have kindly supplied a free non-alcoholic beer for every runner. You can claim yours after the race by presenting the voucher found in your goody bag.

T-shirt/vest collection & merchandise

If you pre-ordered a snazzy #RN18 t-shirt or vest when you entered – and didn’t collect from the race Expo – you can collect your order from the merchandise tent from 8am. We’ll also have limited stock available to purchase.

Pre-race water station

Need a quick fill of pre-race water? Head to the Adnams tent before the race to grab water.

Food & refreshments

Satisfy those post-race hunger cravings with a visit to our food vendors. The lineup includes:

Activity Area

The activity area will host a number of exciting experiences and games for the kids to enjoy – a rock climbing and bouldering wall and much more. Keep an eye out for the Community Sports Foundation’s Sportasaurus mascot!

Massages

Massages will be provided by local volunteer physios and masseurs. The rub-downs are free, but donations are always appreciated!

Baggage

All baggage stores are located in the Race Village. The area will be open from 8.00am till 12.00pm and you will be allocated a baggage area in accordance with the colour on your race number. Your running number contains a tear-off baggage label.
