The winner of our prize draw from our Run Norwich 2018 runners survey has been revealed.
David Bufton, from Worstead, was picked at random from our survey respondents. He wins a free place at next year’s race (race date & entry details to be revealed in due course) – congrats, David!

Feedback from previous race surveys have been invaluable in shaping improvements for future editions of the race, and this year 882 runners filled out this year’s post-race survey.
The survey revealed the following feedback scores:
- 98.1% of runners said the overall race experience was excellent or good. 77.4% said it was excellent, 20.7% good and 1.7% average.
- 98.3% of runners would recommend Run Norwich to a friend. 1.4% are undecided.
- 88% of runners visited the Race Village or stayed in the city following the event.
- 97.6% of runners said staff / volunteers were excellent or good (79.5% excellent, 18.1% good, 2.4% average)
- 97.6% said pre-race communication was excellent or good (73.4% excellent, 24.2% good)
- 41.7% of runners brought three or more supporters with them on race day.
- 44.8% of runners stayed in the city to shop or eat/drink at a restaurant, pub or cafe.
A number of volunteers (83) also filled out a volunteer survey, for which the following statistics were revealed:
- 98.1% of volunteers said the overall race experience was excellent or good. 77.4% said it was excellent, 20.7% good and 1.7% average.
- 96.4% of volunteers would recommend volunteering at Run Norwich to a friend.
