They’re there to give you that extra spring in your step, and a growing list of local performers on race day just got longer with the addition of six acts including a choir of mums, an Elvis impersonator and a talented, young BBC Introducing singer/songwriter.
The acts – Harmummies, ‘Elvis Presley’ and Jack Miles – will be performing at various points along the race route, as well as in the Chapelfield Gardens Race Village following the race.
sPANgle, a popular steel-pan drum group who performed on Castle Meadow last year, will be returning again, while dance acts KTROO and the Angel Baton Twirlers will be performing near the start line.
The new acts join Norwich Rock Choir and Norwich Samba who were announced as the first two entertainment acts back in May.
