CSF salute the hard work of those that helped to make Run Norwich a success

At last night’s Capital One Cup tie between Norwich City and West Bromwich Albion, the Community Sports Foundation (CSF) saluted the hard work of the people that helped to make the recent Run Norwich 10K a success.

Over 3,000 runners took the city centre streets in August for the inaugural event, and this was made possible because of the tireless work of the Run Norwich Operations Board and technical team, and the enthusiasm of the 300 volunteers on the day.

The ten-kilometre city centre route saw runners pass a number of iconic landmarks, including Norwich Cathedral, Norwich City Football Club, and the Castle.

Shortly before kick off, some of the volunteers took part in a pitch parade, while several of the event’s prize winners joined the race technical team for a picture at half-time.

The guests all enjoyed a complementary ticket to watch the game, which saw the Canaries running out as 3-0 winners.
