Staff at Aviva will be taking part in the virtual 10K and fundraising for the Foundation
Run Norwich organisers the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation would like to thank Aviva for their backing of the virtual 10K, which opens this Sunday (18th October).
As well as some financial support for the race, staff at Aviva will be taking part in the virtual 10K and fundraising for the Foundation to help support our community programmes.

Ian Thornton, CEO of the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation said:
“We are grateful to Aviva for their support of the virtual 10K and wish their staff that are taking part the very best of luck.
“Their support, along with the generosity of all those who did not claim an entry fee refund, has helped towards the race costs we had incurred this year before cancellation.
“We also normally raise a fantastic amount from Run Norwich to help sustain our vital programmes in the community; it is great news that Aviva staff will join the fundraising efforts of our #TeamCSF runners to support that important work and further reduce the impact of race cancellation on the Foundation.”
Lindsey Rix, CEO of UK Savings and Retirement at Aviva said:
“The last six months have seen our lives transformed, so helping our communities to connect has never been more important. It’s vital for our health and wellbeing and something we are passionate about at Aviva.
“As proud sponsors of the 2020 Run Norwich, we hope to see many of you out there running, jogging or walking the now virtual 10k and fundraising to support the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation.
“We are excited to be part of this great event and helping to bring our community together.”
