“A celebration of community spirit”
Ian Thornton OBE, CEO of the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation, said
“Run Norwich is so much more than a race – it’s a celebration of community spirit, determination and the positive change sport can create.
The money raised goes straight back into supporting the people in our community who need it most. Football – and running – have an incredible ability to motivate and inspire people to aim higher and realise their potential. That’s what drives us at the Foundation: using the power of sport to lift those who might be finding things tough.
As the Foundation’s strategic partner, we’re delighted to welcome Norse Group back as headline partner for a third year. Their support – and shared commitment to our values – helps make this standout event possible.
We can’t wait for our 11th year. Last year’s incredible response, with entries selling out in just two hours and hundreds choosing to run for the Foundation, showed just how much this event means to the city.”
The Foundation also confirmed that Norse Group will return as headline sponsor for the third year running, as part of its wider strategic partnership.
Justin Galliford, CEO of Norse Group, added:
“We are immensely proud to continue to support Run Norwich as part of our wider strategic partnership with the Foundation. It is a standout event for the city – one that brings people together and showcases the very best of the community and participation. Supporting the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation’s vital work is an honour for Norse Group, and we look forward to another unforgettable race day.”
