Run Norwich would not be possible without you; not just through you participation in the race, but also your invaluable feedback that helps us improve year on year.

This year 1615 runners and 270 volunteers completed our post-race surveys following Run Norwich 2023, and we are pleased to share some of the findings below.

Runners survey

• 32% were new to Run Norwich
• 9/10 overall rating
• 96% would recommend Run Norwich
• 89% of runners will participate again next year
• 10% of runners ran for a charity
• 7.2% of runners travelled 50+ miles to take part

The following Run Norwich elements were rated as Excellent, Very Good, or Good

• Booking system (99%), website (98%), social media (98%), pre-race info (98%), staff/volunteers (99%), medals (97%), merchandise (90%), Race Expo (93%), Race Village (84%)
• Souvenir bags (65%) remains an area you’d like to see us improve

Volunteers survey

• 50% were first time volunteers
• 9.1/10 overall rating (up 0.1)
• 74% of volunteers will do so again next year
• 13% of volunteers wish to participate as a runner next year
• 95% would recommend being a volunteer for Run Norwich
• 6 volunteers travelled 50+ miles to take part

The following Run Norwich elements were rated as Excellent, Very Good, or Good

• Training (97%), pre-race info (97%), organisation (97%), staff/volunteers (98%)
• T-shirt/perks (85%) fell slightly below our high grades elsewhere

As well as grading areas of the race, we asked for your ideas and suggestions. We’ll be looking to incorporate the best of these into next year’s race (before you ask, date and entry details are yet to be revealed!).
