Community Sports Foundation Launches ‘Race Ready’ Programme to Support New Runners Ahead of Run Norwich 2025
The Community Sports Foundation is excited to announce the launch of ‘Race Ready,’ a new initiative designed to help first-time runners and young participants prepare for Run Norwich 2025. This programme offers tailored training sessions led by experienced coaches, aiming to build confidence and improve fitness levels ahead of the big day.
Adult Race Ready Programme
For adults gearing up for their first 10K or aiming to enhance their performance, the 10-week Race Ready programme provides structured training under the guidance of former Olympian Paul Evans. Sessions commence on Thursday, 26th June, and run weekly from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at The Nest, Norwich. Participants will benefit from expert coaching, progressive training plans suitable for all levels, and the opportunity to join the year-round Run Norwich Training Group. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Junior Race Ready Programme
Young runners preparing for Run Norwich Junior can join the 6-week Junior Race Ready programme, starting on Thursday, 24th July. Led by experienced coach Izzy McQuillin, sessions are held from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at The Nest. The programme focuses on age-appropriate training, emphasising fitness, technique, and, most importantly fun to build confidence among young athletes!
Both programmes are designed to provide participants with the tools and support needed to make the most of their Run Norwich experience.
