As per our race rules, entrants must be at least 16-years-old on race day.

Please note, however, that our race entry system stipulates that under 18s can only be entered by a parent or legal guardian.

See the steps below for how to enter a participant aged 16 or 17 into the race:

How to enter an U18 into Run Norwich

Step 1: Registration page

After selecting whether the entrant will be a general entrant or a charity entrant, you’ll be asked to input an email address. This is asking for the booker’s email address, not the participant’s, and therefore the parent/guardian should input their own email address here.

Step 2: Your information

Please note that this section (‘Your Information’) is for the booker’s information only, and should therefore contain the personal details of the entrant’s parent/guardian, including their date of birth.

This section will not allow anyone under the age of 18 to input their details.

Step 3: Who is this registration for?

Once the parent/guardian has filled out their section, it’s now time to enter the participant’s details.

At this stage, select ‘Minor, under 18’.

Step 4: Entrant’s details

The form may now be completed with the participant’s information.
