CODER's innovative cheer station on Rose Lane will enhance the experience for both participants and spectators

The Community Sports Foundation, organisers of Run Norwich, are pleased to announce the return of CODER as a race supporter for this Sunday’s event.

This collaboration is set to bring new levels of engagement and support to the race through their innovative cheer station on Rose Lane, enhancing the experience for both participants and spectators.

Be part of CODER’s ‘virtual cheer wall’

On the first day of the Expo (Friday 6^th September, 9am to 6pm), CODER will be hosting a unique opportunity for friends and family of runners to become part of a ‘virtual cheer wall’ on race day.

Attendees will have their picture taken with customised messages of encouragement, which will then be displayed on the large screens outside CODER’s headquarters on race day.

This ‘virtual cheer wall’ initiative allows supporters to visibly cheer on their loved ones, adding a deeply personal touch to the race experience.

Helping you tackle the CODER Climb

The CODER Climb, an iconic part of the Run Norwich course, is back and better than ever for 2024.

Located at the 5km mark, just as runners hit the bottom of Rose Lane, this stretch is known as the toughest hill of the race. But with CODER by your side, they hope you’ll conquer it with “style and strength”.

Here’s what to expect at the CODER Climb cheer station:

– Motivational Messages: The hill will be adorned with a series of uplifting and inspiring messages to keep runners motivated and energised as they tackle the climb.

– Live MC Support: A dynamic live MC will be stationed at the climb, offering real-time encouragement and pumping up the crowd with electrifying energy.

– Sweet Treats and Pit Stop: To keep runners fuelled and focused, CODER will provide sweet treats at this crucial point. Plus, a much-needed toilet pit stop will be available, ensuring participants can continue their run comfortably and confidently.
