Norse Group to be principal sponsor of this year's race

We’re delighted to be able to unveil Norse Group as the main sponsor of Run Norwich 2018.

Norse Group, a national holding company with roots in Norfolk, comprises of facilities management specialists Norse Commercial Services, property consultancy NPS Group, and care provider NorseCare.

They’ll be the principal sponsor of this year’s race, which returns to the city centre in August.

Mike Britch, Norse Group Managing Director, said he was delighted to be able to support the popular 10-kilometre race.

He said: “We know what a fabulous event it is for the city of Norwich. Norse Group already has a very strong link to the community with the services we provide via our partnership with Norwich City Council, and through our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy – the Norse Way.

“Supporting such an exciting community occasion like Run Norwich helps us to focus on delivering services in ways that produce a wider benefit to the local community and capture longer-term savings for our clients and partners.”

Ian Thornton, Chief Executive Officer at race organisers the Community Sports Foundation said:

“The race simply would not be possible without the invaluable support of organisations like Norse Group.

“Thanks to their backing, we’ll be able to keep improving the race day experience for our runners and spectators, and help to further establish Run Norwich’s place as one of the newest and best 10ks in the country.”

Norse Group will lead the race’s lineup of corporate supporters for 2018, which includes returning sponsors Aston Shaw, Ashtons Legal, Computer Service Centre, Norwich Business Improvement District, Robinsons Skoda, and new sponsors ESP Merchandise.

Run Norwich will take place on Sunday 5th August, with entries opening next week (Charity entry: 23rd January, general entry: 25th January).
