Story added: 7th July 2022

Free entertainment in the city centre

The race is not the only reason to Visit Norwich this summer: from late July a host of free music and entertainment will hit the city’s streets on Sunday afternoons.

Taking place from 24th July – 4th September, ‘Head Out, Not Home’ will see Covent Garden style street entertainment, and a range of music from jazz, folk, world and rockabilly.

The performances are all family friendly and are staggered to give you a chance to move around and enjoy more than one show. Whether you are shopping in the Lanes, enjoying lunch in the city, grabbing a takeout from a café, or some heritage and culture, Head Out, Not Home will add to the perfect Sunday vibe in the #CityofStories this summer.

The locations include: Millennium Plain, St Gregory’s Green, Gentlemen’s Walk, Westlegate, Riverside and Tombland.

To find out more visit the event listings on the Visit Norwich website.
